The Everything Caravan & Camping Trip of a Lifetime with What’s Up Downunder (Channel 10) fired into action this week with our influencers being thrown a few surprises and which saw a guest appearance by the amazing actor and performer Rob Mills.
We arrived at Discovery Park Airlie Beach Caravan Park with the influencers 4 Boys and a Caravan, Aussie Destination Unknown, The Lifestyle Pioneers and Wandering Panda Coffee Van settling into their new caravan sites for 5 days. Everything Caravan & Camping also had a support crew and influencers - Adam and Letitia from Suncoast Caravan Service who you will see on this trip driving the myCOOLMAN Toyota Prado and the OPUS OP4 Camper Trailer.
ECC filming and social media opportunities began immediately as the influencers settled into their new digs and the surprises kept coming. To keep the influencers on their toes, they are only told the night before what time they will need to be up the next day and it is only in the morning that they find out what surprises are install for them.
First up was Chris and Miriam from Aussie Destinations Unknown who were woken in the wee hours to prepare for their first adventure. Show host Macca broke the news that they were going to go Sky Diving, unfortunately bad weather with strong winds cancelled the adventure but two days later they were skyward and had a blast.

The Lifestyle Pioneers and Wandering Panda Coffee Van were treated to a special Glass Boat Tour of Shute Harbour and checked out the amazing coral reefs and fish life, while Aussie Destinations Unknown and 4 Boys and a Caravan had some thrills and spills aboard a jet boat ride.
Monday night, the influencers had to put on a performance of their own for the happy hour guests at the park and while the acts were sensational, we don’t think there will be any dance or academy awards handed out LOL.
Moments after the completion of their acts, special guest Rob Mills snuck around the corner to surprise everyone singing his heart out before mingling with the crowd for selfies and chats with every single person in the park. His love of singing and performing saw the musical star grab a What’s Up Downunder acoustic guitar and bash out some songs including a fantastic Foo Fighters "Times Like These" acoustic performance.
