Starting last week on Tuesday 19th April, visitors from across NSW and beyond came along to be inspired for their next holiday trip at the Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. The Sydney show displayed the newest and the best of the Caravan and Camping industry by featuring the latest caravans, campervans, camper trailers and motorhomes. The weather also held its end of the bargain whilst all folk - including new campers, couples, families and the elderly enjoyed over 400 different professional exhibitions.
The Supershow showcased a vast collection of recreational vehicles and outdoor camping equipment. This year there was a big emphasis on the education of caravan safety. We had technical towing expert Gary Gardiner from Hayman Reese sharing his knowledge on safe and effective towing by discussing weight distribution, towing capacity and reversing techniques. There were also seminars for those new to caravanning and camping - covering topics such as pre-trip preparation, setting up at your destination and external needs.
Regardless of what stage attendees were in the market to make a purchase, it was an excellent opportunity to enjoy the free entertainment at the show. Australian TV celebrity Chef Fast Ed, who is no stranger to a camp kitchen, gave plenty of inspiration for key recipes every Caravanner and Camper should know before they hit the road. Pat Callinan from Australia’s longest-running national 4X4 television show on Network 10 also made a guest appearance talking about the best of his NSW road trip adventures.
At the Everything Caravan and Camping exhibition, we were delighted every time a member of the Community stopped by and introduced themselves. Plenty of ECC merch was given to be taken home for these passionate Caravanners and Campers. We would like to thank everyone, both new and existing members, for helping to grow our community and keeping such a positive vibe around Caravanning and Camping.
