Shunt (Included) | 500A/50mV |
Cables (Included) | 10 meter 6 core UTP with RJ12 connectors, and cable with fuse for ‘+’ connection |
Temperature Sensor | Optional (ASS000100000) |
The shunt connects in the negative line to the battery.
The left hand connection is labelled "Battery Only" and that should be the only connection to the battery. Everything else connects to the right hand terminal which is labelled "Load and Charger".
The socket is for the RJ12 connector that goes to the meter itself. The supplied cable is 10 meters long (approx 30 feet) but other lengths are available.
The two connectors with the orange tabs are for the temp sensor/power supply connections.
One tip to remember is to make the connection to the battery last. If you don't the other end of the power wire could come in contact with a negative connection and blow the fuse.
