*** please be aware Waeco/Dometic have upgraded the lid and it does look slightly different to the lid pictured (not as glossy) and the hinge area has been reinforced.
The original CF50/60 lids had a problem with warping in the sun, Waeco's solution at the time was to make them out of polycarbonate.
This had 2 issues:
1) very expensive to produce
2) very brittle at the hinge area
When they discontinued the CF range they remade the lid in a more cost effective materiel and manufactured it not to warp. This lid is just as effective as the original.
