This 24cm/8.5L Stock Pot features the heavy gauge of SCANPAN Commercial providing unrivalled durability. This cookware has been designed with the professional home gourmet in mind. With the tubular stainless steel handle that is designed to stay cooler for longer and heavy duty stainless steel lid, this collection is as much at home in the domestic kitchen as it is commercially. The optimal impact bonded base ensures rapid and even heat distribution. This range is oven safe to 250C and is suitable for all energy sources, including induction.

Maintenance and Care:



  • Before First Use

  • Wash the pan in hot soapy water with a nylon cloth/brush. Do not use harsh scourers

  • Routine Cleaning

  • After cooking, do not put cold water in hot pan ; wait until cool, remove all food and fat residue using hot soapy water and nylon cloth/brush ; Heat tint or streak marks can be caused by excessive high heat. Do NOT use excessive high heat. To remove streak marks, mix 2 table spoons of bi-carb soda with water to create a paste. Apply the paste with a soft cloth in circular motion, then rinse off as normal.

  • Whilst the range is dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended to extend the life of the product. For even better results, use the SCANPAN Steel and Copper Cleaner for an "as new" finish.


Please Note when heating your cookware with the following options:


GAS



  • Do not apply high heat (excessive flames). Always ensure the flame does not extend up the side wall of the cookware, as this could cause damage and/or excessive heat on the handles themselves.

  • Gas cooktops may have uneven surfaces and should never be left unattended.


Electric/Standard



  • Ceramic/halogen cooktops - always make sure both the surface of the cooktop and the base of the cookware are clean before each use.

  • Permanent marks may result if this is not done.


Electric/Induction



  • Induction cooktops - always make sure both the surface of the cooktop and the base of the cookware are clean before each use.

  • Permanent marks may result if this is not done.

  • Not all SCANPAN STRATANIUM non-stick cookware is suitable for induction technology. Refer to product packaging.

  • Do not use surge or boost function. This will expose your cookware to excessive and intense heat and will void your warranty
