Vinyl records have become all the rage again but you may encounter a couple of issues which are addressed by this unit. Firstly, vinyl records are manufactured in a way that requires frequency equalisation of the turntable output to make them sound right. Secondly, if your amplifier doesn't have a phono input then you won't be able to listen to your records. This unit provides the necessary frequency equalisation and increases the signal level so that it can be fed to your line-level amplifier. There is a second set of inputs for a CD player or other device. There is a front panel switch to choose between input devices and a volume control on the front panel to adjust the output level as necessary as your turntables cartridge may provide a lower or higher output than expected. All connections are made with the popular RCA connectors. Power is provided by an included mains adaptor.
